While the team at Kings Removals takes all the necessary precautions to protect your belongings by padding and shrinking your furniture, there are many outside forces beyond our control that need to be considered when moving such as weather, accidents, vibration, shock, pressure and movement.
When choosing your removalist, we recommend reading reviews, read-through websites and make sure your company you chose to move with has or offers Transit Insurance.
WHAT IS TRANSIT INSURANCE and WHAT DOES IT COVERS YOU FOR?
Transit Insurance covers you against the following while the truck is in Transit
- Fire
- Flood
- Collision
- Overturning
- Impact
****Please Note: Transit Insurance does not cover Boxes that have been packed by customers or Plants being relocated and is not accidental insurance and does not cover accidental breakages.
Comprehensive Marine Transit Insurance is usually obtained by a consumer that has a low level of home contents insurance which does not cover any moving accidents /claims.
It is highly recommended that customers take out their own Accidental Insurance.
Some clients may actually have a full accidental damage home contents Cover which will cover any damages during transit, it is up to the customer to check their level of cover with their current home insurer.
If you require more cover than we offer as standard then we recommend using our preferred insurer.
