Donation run to help farmers in drought
Scott and Casey from King Removals on the sunshine coast saw first hand how devastating this current drought has been on farmers and decided they needed to help how ever they could.
So far they have had support from their local member Dan Purdie ( His Facebook page ), IGA and members of the public in helping get essential items for farmers.
White’s SUPA IGA Bli Bli have donated two pallets of water and stock while Dan has provided a heap of IGA gift vouchers.
September 5th Scott, Casey and the supplies will make the 10 hour trip out to Charleville and the charity Aussie Helpers who gave a call out asking for essentials.
Everything from feed for livestock to bottled water and kitchen essentials to help the drought affected farmers cope during this period.
Casey has setup a Facebook page here if you would like to help or talk to one of these brilliant people about donations.
